Enjoy Life
What makes life enjoyable? It certainly is not getting angry with a family member, running away from home, isolating ourselves or becoming consumed with thoughts about someone who has offended us. Obviously, these negative reactions are sin, and they definitely go contrary to what makes life enjoyable. The answer to maintaining joy in our lives is simple. Life is enjoyable when we choose to believe that God fearfully and wonderfully made you and me.
How we see ourselves often reflects in how we treat others. If we do not believe we are fearfully and wonderfully made, we cannot love other people. We fail to see that before man ever sinned, when God already knew man would fall, He called man (you and me) good. God chose to love us, but we must choose to love ourselves. This summer let us exercise our right to enjoy life. Let's remember, we were in God's thoughts before we were created, even before the existence of time.
